Power Points & Switches

We'll put power where you actually use it. Outdoor points for the BBQ, USB outlets beside the bed, a proper circuit out to the shed, & new switches to replace the yellowed ones. One point or the whole house, you'll stop running leads under the rug.

A modern switch plate installed on a tiled wall.

What We Can Do For You

How many extension leads are running under your furniture?

Have a look. Most houses have a few, plus a double adaptor stacked on another double adaptor somewhere behind a cabinet.

That’s not a habit problem, it’s a wiring problem. Homes built twenty or thirty years ago were wired for a fraction of what we plug in now, & the leads are just people working around the shortage.

What we can sort out

  • Extra points where you actually use them, indoors & out
  • Weatherproof outdoor points for the BBQ, the entertaining area & the Christmas lights
  • USB & USB-C outlets beside beds & benches, so the chargers stop hogging a socket
  • A proper circuit to the shed, studio or workshop instead of a lead out the window
  • New switches & plates to replace the yellowed ones, matched to what’s already on the wall
  • Safety switches on the circuits that need them

Why the leads are worth getting rid of

An extension lead under a rug gets walked on, heats up & wears through where you can’t see it. Daisy-chained adaptors put more through one point than it was ever meant to carry.

Adding a point is usually cheaper than people expect, & it’s always cheaper than the alternative. It also just makes the house nicer to live in, which is the bit people notice day to day.

Tell us where you keep reaching for a lead

That’s where the new outlet goes. Send a photo of the room & we’ll tell you what’s involved. One point or the whole house, we chase in where we can so it sits flush instead of being surface-mounted as an afterthought.
