Either way, the electrical side of a pool is not the same job as wiring a shed. Water changes what safe looks like, & the rules around clearances, equipment ratings & bonding only apply here.

We do this work regularly, which means it gets done to the standard the first time instead of being picked up at inspection.

• Heat pump & pool heater circuits
• Pool & spa lighting, including colour & controlled lighting
• Garden & entertaining area lighting around the pool
• Equipotential earth bonding of every metal part around the water
• Fault finding on equipment that has stopped behaving

Why bonding is the part nobody sees

Earth bonding ties together all the metal around a pool so there can’t be a voltage difference between two things you might touch at once. Handrails, ladders, reinforcement, pipework.

It’s invisible when it’s done, it’s the hardest thing to retrofit later, & it’s the single most important part of a pool electrical job. It is also the thing most likely to be missing on an older pool.
